Terms of Service
Last updated: October 24, 2026
These terms are the contract between you and Vibe2Viable LLC for roundfivetrivia.com and the Round Five Trivia service. Please read the renewal summary, the license, the warranty disclaimer and the limit on liability.
Subscriptions are not open yet. No price has been set, and nobody can be charged through this site today. The subscription sections below describe how the paid plan will work when it opens. Before you can pay, checkout will show the price and the renewal terms, and it will ask you to tick an unticked box agreeing to these terms. You agree to these terms by ticking that box, or by downloading the free sample (the sample license below applies to the sample). Reading the public pages does not, by itself, bind you to anything.
Also see the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy. They are part of this contract. If the refund policy and these terms disagree about a refund, the refund policy controls. If the privacy policy and these terms disagree about personal information, the privacy policy controls.
Monthly plan, in plain view
- What you will be buying. A monthly subscription to weekly trivia packs. Each pack is a host key (PDF), a player sheet (PDF) and slides.
- Price. Not set yet. Checkout will show the monthly price, and any tax, before you pay. The price shown at checkout is the price you agree to.
- Renewal. The subscription continues, and we charge that price every month, until you cancel.
- Cancellation deadline. To avoid the next charge, cancel before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the day before the renewal date shown on your receipt.
- How to cancel. Online, from the link in your receipt or any billing email, or by emailing [email protected]. See Automatic renewal and cancellation.
- When cancellation takes effect. At the end of the period you already paid for. You keep that period's packs.
- Refunds. Packs already delivered are not refundable. The first charge is refunded if you ask within 14 days and no paid pack has been delivered yet. A renewal charge is refunded if you cancel within 7 days of it and no pack from the new period has been delivered yet. A missing, late or defective pack gets a replacement or a refund of its share. Details are in the refund policy.
- Fee and minimum term. No cancellation fee and no minimum number of months.
- Not a free trial. The free sample never turns into a paid plan. We charge you only after you start a subscription and agree to the monthly charge.
Who we are
Round Five Trivia is a product of Vibe2Viable LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, 8401 Mayland Dr, Ste A, Richmond, VA 23294. Vibe2Viable LLC offers Round Five Trivia and is the party to these terms. "We" and "us" mean Vibe2Viable LLC. "You" means the person or business that uses the site or the service.
The public site is roundfivetrivia.com. The customer email is [email protected].
We may assign these terms to an affiliate or to a successor that takes over the service, subject to applicable law. If that happens, we will email the address on your account.
How the service is run, including AI assistance
An AI agent (Grok Bot) helps operate Round Five Trivia. It helps write and fact-check packs, draft and send email, and handle routine requests. Vibe2Viable LLC is responsible for the service and for everything sent in its name. We do not send email under a made-up personal name.
Eligibility and business use
Round Five Trivia is intended for adults 18 and older: people who host trivia, and the businesses that hire them. It is not directed to children. Please do not download the sample, sign up for email or subscribe if you are under 18. We do not run an age check.
If you sign up for a brewery, bar, restaurant or other business, you confirm that you may bind that business. The business is then the subscriber. You must give us an email address you actually read.
The service is offered to hosts and businesses in the United States. We do not accept subscriptions or email signups from outside the United States at this time.
You are responsible for your event: prizes, house rules, alcohol, capacity, accessibility, and any law that applies to games or promotions where you are. We provide a script and supporting files. We do not run your event, and we do not give legal, tax or contest advice.
The subscription
When subscriptions open, an active subscription gets one pack per week by email, ahead of the week it is for. We do not promise a particular weekday. A pack contains:
- a host answer key (PDF), with the questions, the answers and short notes you may read aloud;
- a printable player answer sheet (PDF); and
- slides for a television or projector, with questions and then answers.
A month of fees covers the weekly packs scheduled in that billing period. A billing period can hold four or five weekly packs. If a pack is missing, late or defective, the refund policy explains the replacement or refund.
Payments will go through Stripe's hosted checkout. We do not see or store your full card number or security code. Checkout adds sales tax where the law requires us to collect it.
If a renewal charge fails, Stripe may retry it, and we will email you. New packs pause until the charge succeeds or you cancel. While we have paused paid deliveries, we do not charge a new renewal.
The free sample is free. Downloading it, or writing to us, does not start a subscription and does not authorize a charge.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
The subscription will be a continuous monthly plan that renews each month until you cancel. Every subscriber gets the rights in this section, whether the subscriber is a person or a business.
Before you pay
Before you enter payment information, and next to the button you use to agree, checkout will state that the plan continues until you cancel, the monthly amount, that we charge it every month unless you cancel, the cancellation deadline, and how to cancel online. You will agree to the monthly charge with its own unticked box. It will not be pre-checked, and it will not be hidden only in these terms. We sign people up online only. We do not take card numbers by email or phone.
After you subscribe
We email a confirmation you can keep. It restates the price, that the plan renews monthly until you cancel, and how to cancel, and it links to these terms and the refund policy. We keep a record of the terms you were shown and of your agreement. We send renewal reminders where the law requires them.
How to cancel
- Online. Every receipt and billing email links to the Stripe customer portal. Open it and confirm cancellation. You do not have to call us, talk to a person or a chatbot, or answer a survey.
- Email. Write to [email protected] from the email on the account and say you want to cancel. Any subject line works. We process email cancellations promptly. If a renewal charge goes through after we received your clear request to cancel, we refund it.
There is no fee to cancel. We email a confirmation. Once your cancellation is clear, we stop future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep that period's packs. Packs already delivered are not refundable, except as the refund policy says (the 14-day first-charge and 7-day renewal windows before any pack from that period is delivered, missing, late or defective packs, and billing errors). If a charge was not authorized, we stop charging and refund it. Nothing in these terms limits a refund the law requires.
Unsubscribing from marketing email does not cancel a paid subscription. Canceling a subscription does not, by itself, sign you up for or remove you from marketing email.
Price changes
We may change the monthly price. We will email the address on your account at least 30 days before the new price applies, or earlier if the law where you live requires more notice. The email will state the current price, the new price, the renewal date it starts on, and how to cancel. The new price applies only from a renewal after that notice, never in the middle of a month you already paid for. If you cancel before that renewal, you owe nothing further.
License to use the packs
We own or license the rights needed to offer the packs. A subscription gives you a limited, non-exclusive license to use them, not ownership. The license lasts while your subscription is active, and it continues after a normal cancellation for packs we already delivered, except as stated below.
What you may do
You may use the packs at trivia events that you, or the business that holds the subscription, host. You may charge admission or otherwise run those events as part of your business. For those events you may download and store the files, print player sheets for people at the event, show the slides on a screen at the event, and read the questions, answers and host notes aloud.
Who a subscription covers
- A venue subscription covers events at that business's own locations, run by its employees or by an independent host it hires for those events.
- A host subscription covers events the subscribing host personally runs, at any number of venues. The host may not leave the files with a venue for someone else to run later.
- Separately owned businesses need their own subscriptions.
What you may not do
- sell, resell or distribute the pack files, or any substantial part of the questions, or include them in a product you sell;
- send the files, slides or question lists to another host, venue or business;
- post the packs, or a substantial part of the questions, on a website, on social media, or in a shared folder people outside your staff can open;
- remove a copyright notice from the packs; or
- use the packs, the questions or the sample to train, fine-tune or evaluate an AI model, or put them into a dataset or AI tool for that purpose.
After you cancel, and if we refund
After a normal cancellation, you may keep using packs already delivered, at your own events, under the same limits. If we fully refund a charge, the license for packs delivered for that refunded period ends, and you must delete those files. If we end the subscription because you materially broke these terms, the license ends and you must delete the files.
The free sample
You may download the free sample and use it at an event you host. You may not sell or redistribute the file or use it to train an AI model. Those limits apply when you download the sample.
Feedback
If you send us a correction, a question idea or other feedback, you give us a non-exclusive permission to use it to run and improve the service, to the extent you are free to share it. This does not override the Privacy Policy, and it does not give us your trademarks or your own games.
Accuracy
Questions are reviewed for accuracy, with source notes, before a pack goes out. Errors are still possible: sources disagree, facts change, and an answer can be wrong, incomplete or out of date by the night you use it. You are the host and you make the final call at your event. The legal form of this limit is in Warranty disclaimer.
Contests and prizes
We sell trivia content. We do not run your event or any contest. We do not take entries, collect entry fees, pick winners or award prizes. Any prizes, fees or house rules at your event are yours, under the law where you are. We do not run giveaways or sweepstakes of our own.
Conduct
You agree to give us accurate account information, keep receipts and portal links within your staff, use the site and packs lawfully, and follow the license. You agree not to interfere with or overload the site, not to send us card numbers, not to send us lists of your guests (including any child), and not to harass us, our providers or anyone else using our name or materials. We may refuse or end a subscription for conduct that breaks these terms.
Intellectual property and copyright complaints
We own or license the site, the Round Five Trivia name and branding, and the packs. We claim copyright only in material that copyright protects, such as original wording, selection and arrangement, and design. Facts and short common phrases belong to no one. Except for the license, we reserve all rights.
If you believe something on the site or in a pack infringes your copyright or other rights, email [email protected] or write to the address below. Tell us who you are, what work is affected, where it appears, and how to reach you. We will review it, reply, and remove or change material that we find infringes. The site has no public uploads.
Third-party services
We use other companies to run the service. The Privacy Policy lists them and what they handle. They include Stripe (checkout, billing and the cancellation portal, once subscriptions open), Amazon Web Services (sending email through Amazon SES), Cloudflare (hosting the site, running our server code and database, bot protection with Turnstile, and forwarding mail to our address), and Google (the Gmail mailbox behind [email protected]). When you are on Stripe's site, Stripe's terms and privacy notice apply.
If a provider has an outage, we will resend a pack that did not arrive. We do not promise that any provider will be available every minute.
Warranty disclaimer
Please read this. It limits what we promise.
The site, the sample and the packs are provided "as is" and "as available." We work carefully and review answers as described in Accuracy, but we do not warrant that every answer is correct, complete, current or fit for a particular event, or that email or the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE and non-infringement. Some states do not allow these disclaimers. There, they apply only as far as the law allows, and you may have rights these terms cannot take away.
Limitation of liability
Please read this. It limits what we can owe.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost goodwill, or the cost of a disrupted event, arising out of the site, the packs or these terms.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising out of the site, the packs or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose, or (b) fifty dollars ($50).
These limits do not apply to our fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any liability the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. They do not limit a right under a consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.
We are not liable for prizes you offer, for injuries or losses at your venue, for rulings you make during a game, or for your decisions about alcohol or admission.
Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of your event, your prizes, your guests, your violation of law at that event, or your breach of the license, you will defend us and pay the reasonable costs and damages that result. This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our negligence, willful misconduct or infringement. If you are a consumer and a law limits this kind of promise, it applies only as far as that law allows. We will tell you promptly about a covered claim and will not settle it in a way that admits fault on your behalf without your agreement.
Termination
You may end the subscription at any time by canceling. We may suspend or end it if you materially break these terms (redistribution, resale and AI training are material breaches), if a renewal stays unpaid after we email you, or if the law requires it. We will email you when it is reasonable to do so. If we stop offering Round Five Trivia and you are not in breach, we refund the unused part of the current prepaid month, as set out in the refund policy.
Sections that by their nature should continue after the subscription ends do continue, including the license limits, intellectual property, warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity, and disputes.
Virginia law and disputes
Virginia law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away protection that a consumer-protection law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived, including automatic-renewal laws.
If you have a problem, email [email protected] and describe it, and give us 30 days to try to fix it. You need not wait if a filing deadline would pass or you need a court order to stop ongoing harm.
Claims go to the state or federal courts located in Richmond, Virginia, unless a law that cannot be waived lets you sue where you live. Either of us may use small-claims court for a claim within its limits. We do not require arbitration. Each side pays its own lawyers' fees unless a law or a court says otherwise.
If a court holds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and a short "What changed" note at the top. Changes that matter to a paid subscription (price, renewal, cancellation, refunds, or the license) apply to you only after we email you about them and only from your next renewal, so you can cancel first. A month you already paid for stays under the terms that applied when you paid.
Other terms
These terms, the refund policy, the privacy policy and the disclosures shown at checkout are the whole agreement about the service. A checkout disclosure controls the price and renewal date of the charge it describes. You may not transfer your subscription without our written agreement. If we do not enforce a right once, we may still enforce it later. These terms are in English, and the English text controls.
